It’s Here – Spring Has Arrived In Clinton County In Southwest Ohio

I can’t believe it.  Spring has finally arrived.  The daffodils are blooming, the trees are budding and the grass is greening up.  Clinton County is ready to embrace travelers from near and far.  You must be getting that travel “itch.”  You know, the one that says “ROAD TRIP!”  Embrace you inner traveler and start making plans for short getaways.  We know it’s hard to go away for long with the kids still in school, but short ventures out and about are a great way to kick off Spring.

Our event calendar is already getting filled up with car and motorcycle racing, horse shows, live entertainment at the Murphy Theatre and fascinating history exhibits.  Sailing is returning to Cowan Lake State Park as well as the hikers, picnickers and fishing enthusiasts.  Our first festival is also on the horizon – the Asparagus and Strawberry Festival will take place on May 24 and 25.  Bookmark our web calendar of events so you can keep up with all the happenings.

We encourage you to take advantage of our convention and visitors bureau, as well as those in other places you’re interested in visiting.  They offer free services to assist you with your travel plans.  Expect free literature, maps and good advice.

Just a quick note on Spring Travel

Spring often brings rain and AAA has advice for this type of driving.

Be sure and get out there and start traveling.  We’d love to have you in Clinton County, Ohio, but where ever you go there are so many things you can do without “breaking the bank.” The possibilities never end.
