SUSAN VALENTINE-SCOTT
Executive Director
Susan Valentine-Scott, Executive Director for the Clinton County Convention and Visitors Bureau brings over 20 years-experience in travel and tourism. Susan has held positions as General Manager and Director of Sales/Marketing in limited and full service hotels/lodging. She has worked with such brands as Holiday Inn Express, The Marriott, Magnuson Grand and private owned full service hotels and restaurants. She is a native of Fayette County, a neighboring county and has worked in large markets such as Cincinnati, OH, Ann Arbor, MI, South Bend, IN and Chicago. She loves the travel industry and the ever changing dynamics of tourism. She has been with the Clinton County Convention and Visitors Bureau since April 2017 and has rebranded the bureau along with implementing a new strategic plan embracing the culture of Clinton County. She looks forward to a bright future as Clinton County evolves and grows.
MELISSA HEDRICK
Executive Assistant
Melissa Hedrick is the Executive Assistant at the Clinton County Convention & Visitors Bureau where she has worked for over eight years. She received her Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences from Southern State Community College where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an organization for high academic achievement. She then achieved her Bachelor’s degree and graduated in 2007. Her love of travel and adventure led her to pursue a career at the Clinton County Convention & Visitors Bureau. She spends her free time raising awareness and advocating for causes close to her heart, such as breast cancer, pregnancy and infant loss, and hypoplastic left heart syndrome. She is also a “memaw” to six beautiful grandchildren.
